ABVMU Begins Online Registration of CNET 2024 Stray Round Counselling for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 Years) and B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years)

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh, conducts online registration for the Stray Round of Counselling for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 Years) course and B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) course 2024-25 academic session. Registration will be done through the online link starting from October 18, 2024. This will continue until October 22, 2024, until 6:00 PM as a part of the Common Nursing Entrance Test process in 2024.

The purpose of this round therefore is to fill up those last seats that are still vacant following the earlier rounds of counseling. No sitting would be vacant in the nursing course.This round aims to fill the remaining vacant seats after earlier counselling rounds, ensuring that no spot in the nursing program is left unoccupied.

Eligibility Criteria for Stray Round Counselling

Candidates eligible for the Stray Round include:

• Those who did not participate in Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up rounds.

• Participants of earlier rounds who did not secure a seat.

• Candidates who were allotted seats but did not take admission.

• Candidates who resigned from their allotted college on or before August 14, 2024.

Candidates ineligible for this round include:

• Those admitted to a college and did not resign by August 14, 2024.

• Candidates already admitted to and continuing in their allotted colleges.

Registration Process and Fees

Eligible candidates must register via the official CNET 2024 website 

• Counselling Registration Fee: INR 500 (Non-refundable).

• Seat Confirmation Fee: INR 40,000, payable via credit/debit card or demand draft at the counselling venue (draft payable to “ABVMU Common Nursing Entrance Test”).

• Candidates who previously submitted the Seat Confirmation Fee are exempt from re-payment.

Documents Required for Counselling

Registered candidates must bring original and self-attested photocopies of the following:

• High School (Class 10th) and 12th (10+2) mark sheets and certificates.

• Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Medical College or District Hospital.

• A valid photo ID (Aadhar, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.).

• Caste and category certificates (if applicable).

• Migration/Transfer Certificate for 12th Class.

Note: No on-spot registration will be allowed at the counselling venue.

Counselling Procedure

• Seat allotment will be done based on merit at the counselling venue.

• Candidates who fail to bring original documents or a valid medical fitness certificate will be disqualified from the process.

• After seat allotment, candidates must confirm their admission; otherwise, the INR 40,000 seat confirmation fee will be forfeited.

This Stray Round Counselling is a crucial opportunity for candidates who missed earlier rounds or did not secure admission. Candidates are advised to complete registration by October 22 and attend the counselling session with all required documents.
