ABESEC UG and PG Program Eligibility Criteria

To apply for ABES Engineering College's undergraduate and postgraduate programs, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements listed below.

Program Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech (1st Year)
  • Completed and passed the 10+2 test in Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship.
  • Earned a minimum of 45% in the aforementioned topics combined (or 40% for applicants in the reserved category).
B.Tech Lateral Entry (2nd Year)
  • Passed a minimum three-year or two-year (lateral entry) diploma exam in ANY field of engineering and technology (with the exception of agriculture engineering, pharmacy, and architecture) from an institution approved by BTEUP or its equivalent with at least 45% of the possible points (or 40% for candidates from SC/ST categories).
  • Passed the 10+2 exam with mathematics as a subject and earned a minimum of 45% of the possible points (or 40% for applicants in the SC/ST category) for earning a B.Sc. degree. will be given if there are still places available after diploma students have been assigned.
  • Earned a D.Voc. Stream from an institution approved by BTEUP or an equivalent in the same or related field.
M.Tech (1st Year) Obtained a bachelor's degree or what is comparable received at least 50% of the possible points in the qualifying exam (45% for candidates in the reserved category).
MCA (1st Year)
  • A B.C.A., B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (IT), B.E. (CSE), B.E. (IT), B.Tech. (CSE), or an equivalent degree must be earned.
  • earned a degree in mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation levels, such as a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., B. Voc., etc. received a minimum score of 50% on the qualifying test (45% for applicants in the SC/ST category).
