The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has issued an important notification regarding the eligibility and reporting rule for Special Stray Vacancy Round (SSVR) for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Government/Government-aided/Central Universities (CU)/National Institutes (NI) and the Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed Universities (SVR-DU) for undergraduate Ayush courses for the academic year 2024-25. Students can go through the article below to check all the details released in the notice.
Key Highlights of AYUSH Special Stray Vacancy Round (SSVR)
In response to the reduction in the minimum qualifying cut-off percentile for ASU&H-UG courses, the AACCC has decided to conduct an SSVR to fill vacant seats after the Stray Vacancy Round-II (SVR-II).
Salient Features
-
Scope: Vacant seats under Government, Government-aided, CU, NI, and B. Pharm (Ay) seats at ITRA, Jamnagar.
-
Registration and Choice Filling: Available as per the SSVR schedule uploaded on the AACCC-UG portal.
-
Eligibility:
-
Newly qualified candidates after cut-off percentile reduction.
-
Candidates not registered on the AACCC-UG portal and not allotted seats through State/UT counseling.
-
Candidates not allotted seats through Central/State/UT counseling in AY 2024-25.
-
Candidates whose names are not listed as ineligible by AACCC-MoA on 12 November 2024.
-
-
Exclusions:
-
Seats permitted by NCISM/NCH after freezing of the seat matrix in Round 3 are not included.
-
-
Allotment Basis: Choices locked during the SSVR choice-filling period.
Conditions for Participation and Admission
-
Candidates allotted seats in SVR-II must join the allotted seat; failing this will render them ineligible for Ayush-PG Counseling 2024, and counseling fees will be forfeited.
-
If a candidate provides a false undertaking during counseling and gets an SSVR seat, their prior allotments will be canceled.
Important Considerations for Candidates
-
Candidates must carefully evaluate participation in the SSVR as seat allotment is binding. Any existing allotments from Central/State/UT counseling will be automatically canceled upon SSVR seat allotment.
