Academic Qualification

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
  • Subject Knowledge: Strong foundation in Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Mathematics (including linear algebra and calculus), Food Science (food chemistry, food engineering, food microbiology, food physics), and Scientific Research Skills.
  • Compensation for Knowledge Gaps:
    • GPA should be greater than or equal to 7.0 for small discrepancies, where new knowledge can be easily acquired.
    • GPA should be greater than or equal to 7.0 and individual pre-master’s program for larger discrepancies, compensating less than or equal to 30 ECTS and one year of study.

English Language Requirement

  • IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5, with minimum 6.0 in Speaking

  • TOEFL iBT: Total 92, with minimum 23 in Speaking

  • Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): Score 176–210 or Grade C

  • Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE): Score 180–230 or Grade C
