• There is one main campus with 5-6 main education buildings. Other than this, there are numerous buildings, but they are meant for research only. There are two main festivals during summer and winter, and there are clubs that have regular parties. Also, there are many student associations on campus.

• I live in a student housing, the company that provides this housing is called Idealis, and we book the room through rooms.nl. The rent is 529 euros per month, but we also get some subsidy depending on the size of the room and whether the room is eligible for a subsidy.

  • There is a huge library in the Forum where you can borrow a lot of books and study peacefully.

  • There are research facilities in all buildings in the university, based on the study program; the students need to go to different labs and different buildings within the university.

• The most common platform to find accommodation is https://www.room.nl/en/. There are also groups on Telegram where you can find temporary sub-rents for 2 months or 3 months.
• The monthly rent ranges from 400 to 600 euros here; it includes a bed, a table, a chair, and a wardrobe. The room area is usually 12 to 13 m^2. All the other facilities, like showers, washrooms, and the kitchen, are shared facilities.

Wageningen University and Research(WUR) is one of the best universities for Life Sciences. It stands in 16th place overall in the world according to Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Europe has always had my heart, I fell in love with this place when I had come in 2012. It was then that I decided if I will pursue my higher education then it will be in Europe. So then as my field is biotechnology and WUR was the best university to make my dreams come true.
