Master of Arts [M.A] [Design Cultures - Arts & Culture] From Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Academic Eligibility:

• a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited research university. Your degree should include at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 ECTS or the equivalent.
• Students may also be accepted if they have an academic Bachelor’s degree in other disciplines of the Humanities (history, journalism, communication studies) or in anthropology or sociology, with a major or specialization in design, fashion, art, or visual culture (equal to a minimum of 30 ECTS). Students with a historical and theoretical interest in the broad field of design are particularly welcome.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

• VU Amsterdam requires all applicants to take an English test. Exceptions are made for students who have completed a bachelor's or master's in Canada, the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, or Australia.
• TOEFL and IELTS tests must have been completed no more than two years before 1^st September of the year in which your course starts.

International students hailing from non-English speaking countries also need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
