Dislikes:

  • Lack of support for placement, especially during the corona time. No response to requests for contact referrals by professors, no response on offerings to guest lectures by alumni, some professors are not flexible enough for understanding the conditions of students whole reviewing and supervising thesis .

Overview

Overall, an excellent experience. Certainly recommend other students join this program. I understand that placements have improved in the time being. Course is doing well. Stressful studies, but worth it because the information is directly relevant for the jobs at hand. Very useful for post study opportunities, primarily due to network effect.

I did an internship in Germany during my bachelor studies. I liked the lifestyle in Europe, the scientific vigor of the UvA, and the group that I joined is world-famous for molecular simulations. It was an overall perfect fit for my personal and professional requirements.
