PTE Academic is a computer-based academic English language test for non-native English speakers who wish to pursue higher education in a foreign country. PTE Academic is a multi-level test, similar to IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC.

The PTE exam is divided into three sections: Speaking and Writing, Reading, and Listening. Candidates must finish all three sections in three hours, with a 10-minute break between the reading and listening sections.

Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening are the four modules of the PTE-Academic Exam. While the Speaking and Writing modules are merged into a single session, the Listening and Reading modules are split into two halves.

This test consists of 10 to 12 questions. Students will be given a 3-9 second prompt to respond to, and they will have 10 seconds to do so. Students will be asked to respond to a short question using a single word or a few words that are clear, basic, and concise.
