Dislikes:

  • I don't really dislike anything about the College, as I aware of what I was getting into. Something that people should be wary about is that, knowing German in Germany is extremely important. Although the program is international, a lot of the administrative stuff at the beginning of your program needs to be completed in German. Therefore knowledge of the language would be a massive bonus to anyone joining. null

Course Curriculum

7

The Course curriculum is intensive and expects a lot from the students. Students are expected to read research papers regularly and also perform projects and research of their own. The program solely focuses on research, and one would be better off going somewhere else if industrial exposure is a priority for them.

Fees

Approximately 300 Euros per semester.

Dislikes:

  • Saarbruecken is a medium-sized city and this makes it hard to get the jobs easily or even get the industrial exposure so easily. That is the only problem with the university. The rest of the aspects are totally fine by me. null

Course Curriculum

My course revolves around the aspects of linguistics and extends it to topics like ChatGPT, text-to-speech, speech-to-text and also about the cognitive processing of languages in human brain. The faculty is well versed with these topics and are also well-known in the academia. The course is well structured and there is ample opportunities to explore in this field.

Fees

There is no tuition fees but semester fees is 318 Euros/Semester. The semester fees include the charges for Student services, personal theft protection, travel charges (free public transport across the state of Saarland).

Dislikes:

  • Weather sometimes, another time excessive work, may be sometimes foods, overall there are very few things to complain about and I am more than happy during my stay in its camous. null

Course Curriculum

I can not comment much on this, as I have already done with my PhD and one postdoc. When I was a masters student, the course syllabus was pretty vast which helped me to clear all the national level competitive exams and later helped me to earn a good PhD degree.

Fees

For PhD and postdoc I did not pay anything.
