- The subject of English Linguistics focuses on two linguistic areas: the description and analysis of the English language system on the one hand and the analysis of English in communicative situations on the other. Students will learn the latest theories and methods for both areas, which they will use in independent research projects.
- For example, students could investigate the use of dialects in real or fictional contexts such as computer games or series in the field of language systems, or analyze political interviews in the field of communication. In addition to the face-to-face events, students benefit from the excellent digital courses offered by English Linguistics. In addition, they will test and improve their English in academic contexts, both verbally and in writing.
