This one-year, English-language LL.M. program offers highly interdisciplinary and international education for graduates of law, engineering, sciences, business, and other areas. With its focus on intellectual property and competition law, it prepares professionals for ambitious careers in an expanding sector of the knowledge-based economy.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent). While most of our students hold a previous degree in law, natural sciences, engineering, or management,  students from other disciplines are also welcom. If the Bachelor's programme was not a four-year programme (240 ECTS credits or equivalent), but a three-year programme (180 ECTS credits or equivalent), an applicant may be admitted if he or she has gained an additional year of professional experience (two years in total).
  • Applicants need to have acquired at least one year (self-financing students) or two years  of professional experience after their first university degree. This means that work done during undergraduate studies (before obtaining the Bachelor's degree) cannot be counted. Apart from actual employment in a paid position, professional experience also includes internships, work as a research assistant (postgraduate), and work during a legal clerkship.
  • Applicants must have a very good knowledge of English.
  • proof of english proficiency  by scoring in TOFEL or IELTS.
