- Specialisations start in 3rd semester, better to start earlier, but one can choose to start early if one can manage

- Strong campus, good library, a lot of events- mostly German though, really good gym and sports courses

- Studentenwerk (by student unions)- cheap dorms up to 350 euros/month, KIT ID housing- more expensive. Private rooms (WGs) are also available. But one should start the search early.

Most students prefer student dorms which could be possibly cheaper than private flats. Accommodation facility varies from dormitory to dormitory and price to price. It can cost you low as 190-200 euros to 350-370 euros.
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology is known for his profound research and innovation. Starting from Heinrich Hertz' s Frequency to karl Benz's Benz production, it has provided lot of inventions. Today it stands as one of the best University in the world. For me it was their research fields which lured me the most. I am inclined towards ground breaking research which runs in this very place.
