The Master of Arts in Southeast European Studies teaches students how to conduct independent academic work in a traditional interdisciplinary field. Students will be able to recognize, analyse, and present complex interconnections using a wide range of factual and methodical knowledge. In particular, they will learn the following:
- Methods of conducting historical studies
- Methods of modern linguistics as well as historical-comparative linguistics
- Methods of literature and cultural studies

- For this master's program, Students need a subject-specific bachelor degree (minimum 6 semesters/180 ECTS-Credits) or a recognized equivalent.
