- During the Bachelor’s degree programme, students will be introduced to the basics of the major ancient Near East languages (Akkadian, Sumerian, and the Hittite language) and the highly-complex cuneiform script. They will also gain an overview of the history and cultural history of the ancient Near East.
- Students in the Bachelor’s degree programme in Assyriology are required, within a relatively short period of time, to learn the basics of at least three ancient Near East languages (Akkadian, Sumerian, and the Hittite language) and to learn the cuneiform script in all of its various forms.
