- Mathematics and physics are closely related. On the one hand, mathematics provides the methods for investigating certain problems in physics.
- On the other hand, increasingly complex physical theories, such as quantum mechanics or string theory, significantly affect the development of new mathematical theories.
- This international program in mathematical physics is interdisciplinary, allowing students to expand upon their math skills and work in a research team.
- Students can focus on either math or physics. This English-language program is offered jointly by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Physics.
