Geography is much more than geography lessons at school. The aim of the course is to record, analyze and design the spatial environment of humans on a regional, national and sometimes global level. In addition to a broad knowledge of natural sciences and human sciences, physical-geographical, geo-ecological and economic and social geographic acquisition methods are also taught. Students at the University of Halle spend a lot of time in the field, in the laboratory and on the computer.
