The Bachelor's degree in Biomathematics is a modern, interdisciplinary course that is unique in this form in Germany. The aim of this course is to train mathematicians with knowledge in various disciplines of biology as well as the ability to mathematically model a wide variety of biological issues and thus find answers to applied questions - also with the aid of the computer. Thanks to their special training, graduates are enabled to work in an interdisciplinary manner with biologists, pharmacists, and doctors. The courses are divided into about 60% mathematics and computer science as well as 40% biology and other subjects.
