The bachelor's degree in biology (duration of study: 6 semesters) initially conveys theoretical and practical knowledge of non-biological disciplines (statistics, physics, chemistry) and core biological subjects (botany, zoology, cytology, and biochemistry) in basic modules. Building on this, specialist modules are offered on the content of microbiology, ecology, and genetics. Students acquire subject-specific competencies by choosing a specialization.
