- The modularized BA sub-course Fine Arts cover the areas of fine arts, art history, art theory, and art education. The artistic practice forms the profile-forming moment of the course.
- In the modules on artistic practice, the areas: painting/graphics, sculpture/object/space, new media, and applied arts are studied. These study parts are supplemented and completed by the modules exhibition practice and workshop internships.
- The art history study module includes basic studies on essential art history aspects.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Prior to commencing studies, students will be required to provide proof of German language proficiency. The following certificates are recognized by the University of Greifswald for applications to a full degree course:
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber’ (DSH) at least level 2*
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz’ (level 2)
- the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 from the Goethe Institute
- the ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ (Test DaF), at least level 4 in all partial examinations*
- the certificate ‘telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule’
- a completed degree in German Studies, an assessment test with German as an examination subject.
