The focus of “Nanotechnology” is on technologies that deal with structures and processes in the nanometer range. Material-specific properties are crucial for the functionality of nanomaterials and nanostructures in energy, environmental and health-related applications as well as in information and communications electronics. Thus the aim is to optimize the nanomaterial by size & shape, composition and manufacturing process towards the aimed functionalities.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of German: A1 when applying, DSH-2 for studying.
- Alternatives to the DSH exam: You do not have to take the DSH exam if you can show one of the following certificates:
- "German Language Diploma" of the Minister of Education Conference - Level II (DSD II).
- Passed the "Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung" (ZOP) of the Goethe Institute.
- "Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom" or "Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom".
- Test "German as a foreign language" (Test DaF), level 4 in all areas.
- Passed German part of the assessment test.
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.
