The entry requirements for the Master of Science in Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Freiberg are as follows:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of German: A1 when applying, DSH-2 for studying.
- Alternatives to the DSH exam: You do not have to take the DSH exam if you can show one of the following certificates:
- "German Language Diploma" of the Minister of Education Conference - Level II (DSD II).
- Passed the "Central high school exam" of the Goethe Institute.
- Test "German as a foreign language" (Test DaF), level 4 in all areas.
- Passed German part of the assessment test.
- telc German C1 University.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
- A 12-week industrial internship in a relevant field.
- A research proposal.
