- The Bachelor of Science in Geophysics and Meteorology provides the necessary basic knowledge in mathematics, physics and data processing, as well as knowledge in the fields of geophysics and meteorology, which then lead to an understanding of the diverse processes in the Earth system. Students also gain insights into current research in the areas of measurement technology and modeling.
- The bachelor's degree forms the basis for the consecutive master's degree "Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere", which is offered in cooperation with the University of Bonn.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Good previous school knowledge especially in mathematics and physics very desirable, good knowledge of the English language.
- Participation in the preparatory courses in physics (from March before the summer semester or from September before the winter semester) and mathematics (from September) is strongly recommended.
