Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) does not charge tuition fees. The students must only pay a semester contribution fee of about $401 per semester. This fee includes free use of public transport in North-Rhine Westphalia, and reduced prices for food and beverages in the cafeteria (Mensa) and canteens.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students who apply for the Master of Science program must have a Bachelor (or comparable) degree in either:
- philosophy
- psychology
- Neuroscience
- mathematics
- biology
- Computer science
- linguistics
- comparable subjects
- good knowledge of English, very good bachelor's degree in one of the above-mentioned subjects, willingness to study.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- The minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
