The master's program “Practical Research and Innovation in Social Work” enables its graduates to think and develop social work in-depth and from the perspective of practical research and innovation. Students qualifies for the assumption of extended professional responsibility, in particular for the conception and design of innovation-related tasks and approaches in practice, research, science, development and management in social work. He systematically brings together research, innovation, and transformation.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- A first professionally qualifying university degree (210 ECTS or 180 ECTS plus proven post-qualification of ideally 30 ECTS, with an overall grade not worse than 2.5) in an undergraduate course of study in the fields: social work, social pedagogy or social management
- A minimum of nine months Professional experience in a field of social work, including the year of recognition for state recognition
- the passed DSH exam (German language exam for university admission of foreign applicants) at level DSH-2 or DSH-3
