The master's degree in industrial mathematics enables students to study mathematics together with high-tech applications from engineering. Solving technical problems doesn't just require the ability to apply existing math. Often, mathematical models first have to be set up, which often leads to new mathematics.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Business Mathematics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Safety Engineering or a related field. The regular length of the Bachelor study should be of at least 6 semesters and should correspond to at least 180 ECTS credits. A minimal mark of (or corresponding to) 3.0 after rounding down to the first decimal place in the German system is required.
