What Students Say
Likes
- Professors are really supportive
Dislikes
- Dislike the paperwork
Course Curriculum
10
- The course syllabus is up to date and changes every couple of years,
- You need to look for the roles yourself
- You can choose your own timetable
- Depends wheather it is a lecture (120 sometimes more ) or a practical (up to 40)
Admission Experience
- Because it fulfilled all my criteria for what I wanted from a degree program, it has good collaborations with research institutions
Faculty
10
- Oh, they are the best and really helpful, quite a few actually. 1. Dr Claudia Krull. 2. Dr-ing Prof Ernesto de luca 3. Dr Christian Bayer, all of them are very approachable, provided you email them for availability first, because they could be really busy with their research
Campus Life
8
- They are all really good, the library is my favorite place to study
Part Time Jobs
- Depends, but at least the current min wage. In corp, you apply via their portals. In research, ideally talking to the prof or group leader. 20 hours. Pretty hard since everyone wants those. Quite a few, but the competition is pretty high, so I would suggest also looking outside.
Placement
6
- Cannot be a 100% sure, but most of my friends have
- They will get at least a wage regardless. For my friends, it was around 60k euros per year
- There aren't any campus placements in Germany; we need to find the jobs on our own. Online or offline job fairs, recruitment drives, etc
Accommodation
Off Campus
10
- Online platforms. 300 all inclusive. Water heating, electricity, radio tax, wifi, etc
Exams
- IELTS, SOP, CV, APS, GRADE SHEETS, etc. are required
- You can check those on the course website. One thing to note would be that if you miss the score even by 1 CP, you could not be selected ( that is the case for most courses unless they offer additional classes for you to catch up)
Fees
- You need a blocked account for survival in Germany. It is updated each year. Uni fees rn for my course is 324 euros per semester.
