Colleges Where I Was Accepted

Reason for choosing my college

  • I choose IU because the flexibility of study there they provide is very good. And the market presence of IU is quite effective. The supportive faculties are one of the main reasons for choosing this university.

Colleges Where I Was Rejected

Reason for Rejection

  • My scores were mediocre in the 12th standard; that's why I have to choose it. And the required percentage is about 80%.

Required Exams for Admission

Tips to enhance your application

  • For a stronger application, you have to gather all of the essential documents before time, such as the APS certificate, passport, and your language certificates and translate documents if they are in your regional language.

Admission Experience

  • I chose this university because of the ranking and affordability. Their courses were up to date. The admissions process is quite relaxing. But the management of this university is a but alow. I need to mention that in many terms. And after all this, this university is also state- and globally accredited.

Class Schedule

9

  • So in IU, usually in a week there are 2–3 classes. Timings were flexible for courses but usually it's 10 AM to 2 PM. Class strength is around 40 to 50 students.  Indian students strength is around 35 students for the self-study, according to me and my fellow batchmates; it is around 2 to 3 hours a day, which is sufficient for your academics.

Faculty

8

  • The ratio between students and faculties is quite good. The professors were very easy to approach. The faculties here are quite experienced; they know what the industry demands and they are up to date on the market.
  • Faculties will guide you more if they see some potential in you; usually they are very friendly.

Campus Life

10

  • There are 2 campuses available right now, one in Berlin and the other in Bad Hof. In the Bad Hof campus, you can get the student accommodation from IU but it is not available in berlin and campus life here in Berlin is so refreshing.
  • The major clubs in college are like marketing for MBA students and coding clubs for CS students.

Part Time Jobs

  • As far as I know, many students from India or from any other part of the world likely favour the warehouse jobs because they have low requirements and the pay is decent. It is also around 10 to 16 euros per hour, and it is decent for a student to maintain their livelihood there. The process of applying to a part-time job is quite easy.
  • Many places are there where students can work part-time; the typical pay for students is around 12 euros per hour. There are variety of on-campus jobs, such as you can guide upcoming students but few students get these jobs and the pay is around 15 euros per hour. As for students, there is a limit to doing part-time jobs of 20 hours a week.

Placement

7

  • Many students do part-time jobs and study along with them because everyone wants to be independent. Probably 60% to 70% of students get these jobs in around 6 months. Average salary ranges around 10 to 16 euros.
  • Students typically get jobs through senior students who do jobs. The lowest salary is 10 euros per hour.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

  • Usually the search method is online or via groups on social media or if anyone you know is residing there, this process will be very easy. There are many challenges, such as fake advertisements and scams; be aware of them.
  • Always ask for contracts before the final steps, and try to get along with your batchmates and share an apartment; it will be cost-effective.
