DNB PDCET 2024 exam pattern will be released by NBEMS. DNB PDCET 2024 is an online computer-based test. The duration of DNB PDCET 2024 is 120 minutes. DNB PDCET 2024 question paper will only be available in English.

It is to be noted that the exam will be conducted in a single day and for a single session. The timing of DNB PDCET 2024 is 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. You will get extra time to read the instructions. So do not hurry during the exam time. Read the instructions carefully and then start answering the question paper.

DNB PDCET 2024 marking scheme is 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be a total of 120 questions and the total mark of DNB PDCET 2024 is 480 marks.

DNB PDCET 2024 Exam Pattern

The basic DNB PDCET 2024 Exam Pattern is mentioned below:

  • It is an objective test and will consist of a total of 120 MCQ or Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Each question will have four responses out of which only one will be correct.
  • The questions will be available in English only.
  • There is a negative marking for wrong answers. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The duration of the exam will be three and a half hours. A 15-minute tutorial will be shown at the start of the examination to guide the students through the question paper.

The candidates will be able to navigate the paper in any order they wish to. Hence, the candidates can select the questions according to their preference and can solve those questions they want to solve first and then get to the difficult ones later.

Ques. Is there a new testing format for DNB PDCET 2024?

Ans. Yes, formerly this test was pen and paper based; now it is a Computer-Based test. However, the test is not an Internet-based test. No internet is needed for conducting the test. Instead of reading the questions on a paper, now the candidates will have to read it on a screen and mark their responses there too.
