This comprehensive 2-year post-graduate program will prepare you for a wide variety of business management careers.  Learning from experienced international business professionals you will gain a critical understanding of the important elements of supporting a global business while gaining a cultural orientation to Canada and the communication skills necessary to be effective in a global business setting.  

The program will expose you to foundational international and Canadian business practices and help you strengthen your English communication, math, and statistical skills, within your first year of studies. Advanced international business practices will be covered in your second year, including Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales and Negotiation, E-Commerce, Finance, Business Analytics and Project Management, leading you to the development of an international business capstone project. 

The professors who teach Sheridan's International Business courses are personally experienced in international business. They are continually updating the program so that it accurately reflects current international market conditions, challenges and regulations.

• Postsecondary college or university diploma/degree, preferably in a Business Program
• Equivalent work experience in a business or financial setting will be considered on an individual basis
   

This vigorous and comprehensive program of study will build a solid foundation from which you can launch an exciting career in information technology.
The emphasis of this program is on practical hands-on learning develops the essential problem-solving skills critical to securing employment.

In this program, you'll gain practical software engineering skills that give you a competitive edge in the job market. You'll study computer hardware (including Computer Architecture and Linux/Unix Operating System) and business practice, management and analysis. There's also a concentration on math that will provide you with a deeper understanding of software engineering principles.

OSSD or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) including:

• Grade 12 English, C or U or equivalent
• Grade 12 Mathematics, MAP4C ? 60%; or MCT4C; or any U or equivalent
• A working knowledge in computers and desktop applications is required for success in this program

• Applicants to these programs are selected on the average of their six highest senior-level credits, including required courses.

• Apply your learning through real-world, experiential learning opportunities with community partners from a variety of industries.
• Attain entry-level Certified Business Analysis credential (e-CBA) through IIBA.
• Complete Lean 6 Sigma Yellow Belt
• Achieve micro-badges in Process Mapping and Analytics with the Mohawk/IBM partnership.
• Build your professional brand by participating in workshops and industry networking opportunities.

Things you'll do and learn

• Develop business processes to achieve organizational goals.
• Integrate appropriate technologies for analysis and development of business processes.
• Create sound business arguments, using financial and cost analysis to justify any process change.
• Use SAP enterprise resource planning software (Sheridan is a member of the SAP University Alliances program).

• University degree or college diploma (two year or longer) including most business programs, computer science or humanities and social sciences; or an acceptable combination of related work experience and postsecondary education
