Canadore College vs Seneca College (Newnham Campus)

In the beautiful city of North Bay, just 180 minutes north of Toronto, you’ll discover three easily accessible campuses - the Aviation Campus, Commerce Court and the Education Centre, which is situated on a stunning 650-acre wooded escarpment overlooking the city. We also have a new and beautiful campus located in Parry Sound, Ontario, right between Barrie and Sudbury.

Seneca is expanding and enhancing our campuses in Toronto, York Region and Peterborough.

• King Campus: Located on 282 hectares of woods, lake and fields in York Region, King Campus is about 40 minutes north of Toronto. The new Magna Hall building has added 200,000 square feet of academic, student and athletic space to King Campus.
• Newnham Campus: One of Canada’s largest college campuses, Newnham Campus, is located at Finch Avenue and the Don Valley Parkway/Highway 404 in Toronto. The new Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE) will open later this year and will feature classrooms, labs and more.
• Seneca York Campus : Located on the grounds of York University, Seneca@York Campus is near the intersection of Steeles Avenue and Keele Street in Toronto. The recently opened York University subway station is located in the heart of the campus.
• Markham Campus : Located where highways 7 and 404 meet, Markham Campus is in the heart of York Region’s business district.
• Peterborough Aviation Campus: Honours Bachelor of Aviation Technology students study at this world-class aviation campus for years two, three and four.

• Campus Life – life on the campus at Canadore College is not just about studying. It has a lot more for students to do. It has a multitude of clubs, societies, associations, forums, student bodies, sports, games, activities, extracurriculars, Co-curricular activities, and the list goes on.
• Student Life – The food and dining options are truly spectacular. The different spots to hang out and lounge in are inviting. There is simply so much to do at Canadore College that you won't feel bored even for a second. And even the city of North Bay has a plethora of activities to get involved in. • Sports Activities – Sports and games form an integral part of life in Canada or college. There are sports associations and clubs around the college where students can enroll and take a membership. You'll be spoiled for your choice of sporting activies.

• A Sandbox is a free tool for students where they can learn about and produce digital media. The Sandbox provides tools, instructions, and tutorials. The initiative helps students learn how to produce many types of digital media, including podcasts, infographics, and films.
• The Newnham Library has a variety of study areas available. It has the tools and resources necessary to cater to your personal and academic needs.

• The vast digital content library is equipped with Search databases, books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, and other sources. With your Seneca login, everything is remotely accessible every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
• There are designated areas for independent study or group collaboration on the Newnham Campus. Additionally, all domains have modern, well-equipped labs.
•  The College provides resources for international students, including free airport pickup, help to find housing, counseling, academic advisors, free English assistance, peer tutoring, and an international student club.
• Additionally, there are social lounges where students can play games and engage in other social activities, as well as shared kitchens, laundry rooms, and group study rooms.
