Hello seniors! ELECTRICAL OR ECE?
I am getting electrical engineering in sant longowal (NIRF rank 76 in engineering college) and electronics and communication in very new GFTI...(basically there's engineering college in University, university is in nirf but not in engineering college... University is old and good)
I ultimately want to prepare for GATE as i know that on campus placement is not more than 3-4 lacs in both branches and off campus placement requires much more than just hardwork.
Keeping in mind that I want to pursue GATE firstly and then after postgraduation i want to do job. What should I choose?
ECE- MTech VLSI has more opportunities
The Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) was established in 1991. Initially, it offered certificate courses related to electrical and instrumentation fields. The 4-year undergraduate program (B.E. in Electrical Engineering) was introduced later, starting from the year 2014
this was written in their website
Yes. You can write GATE ECE paper after BTech EE also.
Just compare both institutes. I have no idea about that state college. If it's almost same/equally good (slight difference) go with ECE. If the difference between 2 is big, go with the later one EE.
Just dig more on the establishment of dept & university. Don't worry if the program is new
Hmm...but CSE mil rha toh wahi choose kro
my problem is that ki ECE or EE almost same syllabus h...but ECE mei better off campus placement h...
at the end of the day mujhe GATE ki taiyari krni h
toh i was thinking ki better college lu ya better branch
if i was getting CSE in some college i would've choose that over anything.
Got ee in a state college same doubt but then i found out mtech vlsi me kar sakta hun toh why not! Aur sab apne pe hi depend krega aage jaake almost har koi cse le rakha hai bhai me ee aur ece hi main le ke rakha hun.
