College demanding Internship/Training this summer
Hello everyone, I am currently in 4th sem and studying my BTech(CSE) from a private college in IPU and they are now demanding a 6 week necessary Internship/Offline industrial training this summer or else they want us to join one of their courses (they so call In house training) for more money. What should I do in this case? I neither have the necessary skillset for the internship just yet nor do I have any money for an offline training.

Fake internship? Some of my friends did that.

Keep applying. You will get into some place. Take the offer even it's unpaid. Don't take the in house training. Don't pay for all that. Also don't fake a letter. All this trickery should be the last resort. I don't think a 4th sem internship is as serious. So just gain skills by getting into some internship. Try for non tech roles, product, marketing and all as well. I know it sounds like ba advice online but you don't know what you're good at. Just get going.

Many colleges now demand mandatory Summer Training or internships, often pushing students toward expensive in-house options. If you're in 4th semester without the skillset or budget, consider free or low-cost resources to build basic skills. Institutes like CETPA Infotech offer references for 6 Months Training modules that can guide your learning. Start small online, then explore affordable offline options.
