Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh, affiliated with HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University, is the first NAAC-accredited dental college in Uttarakhand, established in 2002. The BDS programme runs for 5 years, covering four academic years followed by a one-year compulsory internship, with a stated total tuition of INR 6,45,000. Admission is through NEET-UG followed by Uttarakhand state counselling conducted by HNBUMU.

Eligibility Criteria

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects, from a recognised board.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per DCI norms).
• Must have qualified NEET-UG 2026 with a valid score as per Dental Council of India minimum qualifying standards.
• Minimum age of 17 years as on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
• Uttarakhand domicile candidates are given preference in state quota seats during HNBUMU counselling rounds.

Admission Process

• Qualify NEET-UG 2026 and secure a valid score above the minimum qualifying percentile for dental courses.
• Register on the Uttarakhand State NEET Counselling portal managed by HNBUMU when registration opens in August 2026.
• Fill in college and course preferences and submit the application along with the counselling registration fee.
• Receive the provisional seat allotment letter after merit-based counselling rounds are completed by HNBUMU.
• Report to Seema Dental College with the allotment letter and original documents within the stipulated reporting date.
• Complete fee payment and document verification to confirm admission and begin enrolment formalities at SDCH.
