Review about PMS

Likes

Good teaching with well qualified teachers
Clab system in first yr and second yr which is quite accessible for easier studies
Mentor mentee system provides good connection with teachers

Dislikes

3 to 4 system is there which includes additional time in clinics and classes but which is not at all useful for students
Comprehensive clinic system is little hectic for students
Outpass and home pass needs approval from atleast 3 faculties

Many conference and conclaves are conducted in our college with professional doctors talk which provide us a clear idea about the academic pursuits and competitive world and future benefits. So many exams are conducted which provide us an easy manner to attempt the exams without much fear

Atmosphere: The greenery provides a sense of calmness
Teaching facilities are of high quality and it moves along with latest technology
Conferences, CDE programs are organised well

Dislikes

Working days can be hectic sometimes considering work life balance

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provides good patient inflow which helps us to get more patient exposure considering the syllabus and curriculum which requires strenuous practice and a good approach. The college also provides 2 methods of teaching - i,e the student centric mode and teacher centric mode .

The one where i did my UG

Likes

Students can have direct communication with the patients
The college has nice classrooms and good faculties
All the staff in our college are very friendly and helpful

Dislikes

We have college from 8.30 to 4 which is very tiring
The canteen is always busy and no place to sit to relax
The students store is not always open which os tough for us

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course helps us to have a direct communication with our patients. It trains us very well for our future. And above all dentistry is all about art. We can master the art through practice. And the thing that we need the most for dentistry is patience.

The innovative CLAB system here at PMS COLLEGE OF DENTAL SCIENCE AND RESEARCH helps to enhance effective studying
Green campus - the campus have successfully helped lower carbon emission levels . Very environment family attitude.

Dislikes

Only formals can be worn during class hours.
Hostel food isn’t worth for the mess fees paid.
Need 80 percentage attendance for being qualified for the university exams.

The college follows the KUHS BDS 2016 curriculum as per the rules and regulations. CLAB system is implemented since the past 4 years in order to improve teaching efficiency. We have regular monthly tests along with internal assessments every 3 months followed by model exam a month before university exam.
