Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology Meerut Advanced Diploma Fashion Design: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

VIFT Meerut teaches the Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design (ADFD) as a full-time, 11-month course on its Baghpat Road campus. The fee notice lists it as a one-year course. VIFT has taught fashion in Meerut since 2008. The full fee is INR 52,000, paid in three parts, and no hostel fee is added. You need Class 12 or a degree in any stream with 50% marks, and the eligibility page names no entrance exam. The Admission Cell takes your form, checks your marks and gives the seat. VIFT Meerut ADFD Fees

The total fees with the exam fee is INR 53,000 while the fees without it is INR 52,000. The college fee is INR 52,000, paid in three parts. You pay INR 15,000 at admission, INR 18,500 before classes start and INR 18,500 within 90 days after. The exam fee of about INR 1,000 is paid online to the university, not to the college. The 2027 ADFD form is expected to open in May 2027, with the last date in Jun 2027. In 2026 the form window was open from 5 May to 20 Jun 2026, and that batch is now in class. The college has not put out the 2027 dates yet, so these are estimates. Keep your mark sheet and photos ready before May.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Eligibility

You need Class 12 or a graduate degree with at least 50% marks. Any stream is accepted, so arts, commerce and science students can all apply. The eligibility page names no entrance exam and no age limit. If your marks are under 50%, this course is not open to you.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Admission Process

The Admission Cell at Vidya Knowledge Park handles the form, the mark check and the seat. You fill the form, show your mark sheet and pay INR 15,000 to confirm the seat. You then pay INR 18,500 before classes start. If you cannot pay a part on time, speak to the Admission Cell before the date passes.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Cutoff

The cutoff for ADFD is 50% marks in Class 12 or in your degree. There is no closing rank, because no entrance exam is listed. If you have 50% or more in any stream, you meet the rule. The seat then depends on when you apply and whether seats are left.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Placements

VIFT does not publish the average pay or the share of the batch placed for ADFD. Its placement page names buying houses, export houses, retail brands and design houses as the main areas. Its fashion alumni work as merchandisers at Max and Vero Moda and as designers in Surat export houses. Ask the placement cell for last year's ADFD offers before you join.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Scholarships

The Post Matric Scholarship for SC students gives INR 4,000 a year with a hostel, or INR 2,500 as a day scholar. Your family income must be INR 2.5 Lakhs a year or less. The fee notice lists Samaj Kalyan fee help for VIFT's degree courses only, not ADFD. So check on the UP scholarship portal that this course is listed before you count on it.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Ranking

VIFT Meerut is not ranked in Collegedunia's 2026 ranking or in NIRF 2025, and no NAAC grade is published. The fashion school started in 2008, so it has 18 years of batches. Judge this course on its fee, its length and its placement areas instead.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Course Structure

VIFT's learning page lists design basics, colour, sewing, drawing, pattern making and computer design as the core of its fashion courses. You learn by hand first and then move the same work to the computer. The course ends with presenting your own designs.

VIFT Meerut ADFD Hostel and Campus

The girls' hostel, Suvarna, has 150 rooms for 300 students, and the boys' hostel, Ananda, has 250 rooms for 500. Every room is twin sharing and each hostel has its own vegetarian mess. No hostel fee is published for ADFD, so ask the Admission Cell for it.
