A college that builds confidence but needs more industry focus

Likes

Weekly seminars helps overcome the stage fea
Can ask doubts whenever we want. Even if its a silly one
Liberty to dress as we wish, but there are certain limitations

Dislikes

Sometimes canteen food is not good and is also unhygienic
Stationery in the college charges the double
Network issues are alot that annoys in between the lab

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year, 6th semester students are eligible for placements. TCS, Infosys, TATA, THub. Highest is 12 LPA, average is 6 LPA, Lowest is 3LPA. 55%+ are getting placemnets. I would be going for masters in abroad.

We have internship provided for the students by the company and we also have a paid internship and we also get intership when we win the technology feast and we also do mimn project and if they like them we have the internship

"The Unvarnished Truth: My Experience"

Likes

Rare events conducted by our college, because of corona 2 years of our college ended up in online.
One of our subject lecture who teached us & very supportive.
Canteen food spending, bunking classes with friends.

Dislikes

Not qualify faculty, lack of staff for teaching.
No proper guidance & help in placements.
Not a big college, only 4 blocks no more other extracircular activities,no events,no clubs.

Internships Opportunities:

One summer internship must be done ,but college doesn't provide anything for us . We students did it from outside through online, offline. I did 2 projects ,Speech emotions recognition ml projects Cyberbullying using Twitter tweets this is also ml project This are the projects I done our external will also under OU was really went strict.

College is highly focused on the concept of women being indecent which led to prioritise more on every student getting placements or opting for higher studies
Since it is a women’s college security is highly prioritised. Strict protocol is are taken when it is about safety and security.
Also has events we can participate and Technical fests where students can enhance their knowledge

Dislikes

As college is in the centre of city we don’t have proper ground in our college

Placement Experience:

from sixth semister students become eligible for campus placements. Compaies such as Accenture, Accolite , Infosis, IBM , HP, visited our college Higheset package was 30,00,00 50 percent of the students are getting placed and others are opting for higher studies.

Likes

College is highly focused on the concept of women being independent which led to prioritize more on every student getting placed with satisfactory packages.
Since it is a womens college, security is highly prioritized. Strict protocols are taken when it is about safety and security. Additionally, we have our college in the main city which makes own transport easy and comfortable.
Student- mentor interaction is one of the best things in the college. Every 20 students are assigned to a mentor for personal care which considers not only academics but also with personal issues.

Internships can be started through placement cell from second year itself. Full time employments can be offered through the internships provided. Summer internship program is mandatory for every student according to their curriculum every year. The selection process is according to the student performance and skills. Stipends are provided according to the company guidelines.

In our college I like lot of things I am first year from a ideas a section in our college we have five blocks named abcdef and we also have canteen and gym and we have also have medical room and restroom but bathrooms are not so that need and more..
I am satisfied with faculty members and good facilities and the quality of education we have a placement cell in our college.from our faculty members,we get the best advice for placements and internship.many of our seniors got placed at different com
Everything in our college is good. There are neat and well maintained canteens,a library,big classrooms,labs etc... the washrooms are not good.classrooms are huge and ventilated and sufficient but there are no acs in class rooms . In labs we have acs

We don't have clean washrooms.and we don't have any cultural activities we don't have any auditoriums inthis year they are constructing a new building in that building the first floor is auditorium and we don't have lifts we need to climb the 4 floor

Stanley college of engineering and technology - The Home.

Techfest, the most appreciated event that is held almost every year around march - april, and people from different colleges including stanley can participate and even put a stall for the fest. Following this a traditional day will be celebrated.
Technical events such as Ideathon , and other hackthons will be conducted. Regarding ideathon two rounds will be there, it is organized in collaboration with Wehub.
A Traditional day will be conducted for each semester. It's not a very grand event but yeah we'll have DJ at the end.

Dislikes

Coming to CRT classes there will be no proper alignment of schedule ,once java will be thought and then they switch to python.
A gym is available, but the access is not provided and there we will need permissions and all which is hectic again.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies such as HPE, TARGET do provide preplacement internships. There will be mini project in 4 -1 and a major project in 4- 2. Students have to do an internship in 2nd and 3rd year , that internship project will be evaluated and grade will be added in successive semester grades. Generally during 2nd and 3rd year student do opt for virtual internships. College encourages to apply for research internships offered from various IITS NITS and other prestigious institutions.

There are two internships in our portion. There internship were done after the board exams of semister. These internship was gone under two weeks .they alloy marks for the internship.we need to go out side and we should do the internship by doing these we can learn many things
