Candidates who have passed HSC examination (Academic Stream of 10 +2 curriculum) of any State/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects specified below and obtained the minimum eligible marks prescribed are eligible to apply for admission to the course concerned.
MCI Norms:
Candidates should have obtained the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination as per National Medical Commission / Medical Council of India norms.
(i) Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology in the qualifying examinations.
(ii) In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribes or other backward classes the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40%.
(iii) In respect of candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 the minimum marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology taken together shall be 45%
