NIELIT Aizawl Admissions

Admission in BCA, MCA, or Diploma programs at NIELIT Aizawl relies on students performance in Counseling/ Entrance Test as decided by admission committee.Admission to all certification courses are done on a first come first serve basis.

NIELIT Aizawl Scholarships

Students pursuing MCA, BCA, DCSE and DETE programmes can apply for scholarships. The eligibility criteria for scholarship is as follows:

Students' parent's income must not be more than INR 1 lac per annum
Students need to clear all papers in their first attempt to avail the benefits of the scholarship
The scheme will be applicable to SC/ST/ physically handicapped/ female candidates who are pursuing NIELIT O/A level full-time courses from an authorized NIELIT accredited centre

Library: The NIELIT library offers more than 8000 volumes of books on electronics & computers, communication in English and many more.
Lecture Halls: The Institute has spacious and well-equipped classrooms along with high-quality desks as well as benches. It also has synthetic boards and updated teaching kits.
Transport: Local students are provided with transport facilities throughout the academic session.
Hostel Facility: The institute provides hostel facilities to boys and girls, and offer 41 and 51 rooms respectively. It provides all the facilities to students such as Dining Hall, Kitchen, Store Rooms, Computer Rooms and Library, Aqua Guard, First Aid Box etc.

Ans. No, there is no provision to fill the application form online. The complete admission process is conducted offline. You have to purchase the admission form and prospectus from the Institute.

Dislikes

Our surrounding a little dirty that makes us a little dizziness

Admission:

I want yo go in a college of Information and Technology i mean in professional line but not in general degree. I do like most of our bachelor of computer application subjects and will be more sacrificing those upcoming subjects too.

Likes

The University has lots of things that students can enjoy
The University also allows every student to use the systems in the labs even after class ends as long as it's within working hours

Dislikes

I'll just say the thing i dislike would be that there's notas many female as i would like
There's really not much things to dislike

Admission:

To study BCA, you need at least 50% of total marks from 12th, 45% for ST and SC. The University has their own website where you can view the courses offered and their respective eligibilities, last date if admission, application form, prospectus etc. Overall, applying for admission is pretty simple and can be done by yourself

My experience

Admission:

College is situated in a very amazing and scenic location. Admission starts in the month of June-July. It is published in local dailies and NIELIT Kohima FB group and page. The admission process is very simple and easy. They don't accept cash, only digital or card payment is accepted. I chose this institute because this was the only Institute having BCA in Kohima.
