A REVIEW OF GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE PALAKKAD

Likes

College has a good environment and the infrastructure is very good and it is neat and clean and everything is very well maintained and it always give a positive Vibe towards all the building are well maintained
College faculty is very good towards us and they were very support you towards each and everything including arts and sports and everything they are very good and their support to Faculty and all the peoples are very kind towards us
Extra curricular activities like arts Sports everything is doing in a proper and well maintained manner very efficient and we are always happy to be a part of it

Dislikes

What is have poor Wi-Fi connection any two improve the Wi-Fi speed and is an important role in our everyday life As we need internet so to improve it, we complainted but not improved
Exam results always late our university is always Lagging the result and that i wont like and its harsh
They are conducting continuous evaluation, so each month series test and exam are held so its hard

Placement Experience:

On the behalf of 5th semester placement activities has been happening we will get the training from 3rd semester proper training is executed MRF, KINFRA, SAINT GOBAN, TATA STEEL Minimum package of annual income is 1.8 lakh per annum and maximum is 9 lakh per annum Well repeated companies time from our college Last year 70% of our seniors Got placement My Plan is to do participate in placement activities and get placement

The college infrastructure it is a big college
Have a good guidance along with classes helps to improve
Trained teacher and faculties separate for theory and practical classes

Dislikes

Extra curricular activities are comperetevily low
Its a professional college so no importance to sports and arts
More work because of labs and practical classes records

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester we have interviews going on The eligibility criteria is no supplementry papers till the interview is going on Company names are not familiar but like wipro, l&t, iti like that so many companies Package i think 15k-20k My plan is to getting on government job

Overall my college is an average government college , nothing extra ordinary

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this civil engineering The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on their difficulties level is good I'll suggest the areas for improvement of teaching methods
