National Institute of Fashion Design is a Fashion and Designing Institute located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. NIFD has approximately 43 centers and was established in the year 2003. It proudly has been recognized as the best center for Fashion, Interiors and Textiles purpose.

National Institute of Fashion Design Short Course Certification Admission 2024

National Institute of Fashion Design offers 6 months Certification course in Fashion Technology and Fashion Styling and much more.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board n.

Admission is strictly done on the basis of first cum first basis and marks scored at 10+2. Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination directly.

National Institute of Fashion Design PG courses Admission 2024

National Institute of Fashion Design offers post-graduate programs in Fashion Retail Management, Interior Design Management and post-graduate diploma courses.

Candidates must have a graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.

National Institute of Fashion Design, Mumbai Application Process

NIFD application procedure can be carried via both online and offline mode. Candidates can fill the application form online on the official website or obtain it from the INIFD Campus also. They have to submit the duly filled-in application forms to the campus/office along with the processing fee and the required documents.

Online mode:-

Visit the official website.
Register by clicking on ‘New User Sign up’ option in the new user section.
Mention Personal details such as - Candidate’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth and Parent's Name.
Provide your Address, Phone Number, City, state, and Pin code.
Select the course you are applying for.
Pay the application fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Upload the documents, fill the details asked in the application form and submit the same.
After submitting the application, candidates will receive an email intimation about the date, time and venue of the admission process.

Offline mode:-

Candidates can fill in the Application Form through offline mode.
Submit along with the required processing fee using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Cash.
They can also collect the application pack from any of the NIFD Campus/Offices.
Completed applications should be submitted at the Institute offices along with the fee and necessary enclosures within the stipulated time.

Copy of provisional or original certificate of Class XII mark sheet
Copy of Bachelor’s Degree (if applicable)
Copy of Master’s Degree (if applicable)

Once the form is submitted and if the candidate is satisfying all the eligibility criterion, he/she will be asked to pay the registration fee and complete the admission process after verification of the documents. The admission process can be completed on the same day itself.

Remarks:

It is one of the best designing colleges in Kolkata. The fees is also moderate with proper facilities. Also the college has tie ups with big brands like Lakme, Zara, Vero moda,etc which gives students good exposure.

Experience with international Institute of fashion design

I got admission in this college through the off-line mode. One of my friend started in the college and he recommended make a college. I went into the college got that mission form and then fill the application fees. My application was shortlisted and I got the admission. Admission:

The students can apply for the admission in the college both through online and off-line mode. When it comes to online mode the students can download the form and fill it and then can submit it through the online portal only. I got admission into this college by filling ans offline form. There is an enquiry cell from.where we receive the form. We can submit it on spot or time time later before the end date. You need to pay little fees at the tike of filling the form, for confirming your seat.
