The students have to go go through a cutoff as the the admission is merit based. Students who are good in academic and have scored well in their Masters program are qualified for applying. When I applied I found that the admission was not as easy as I thought. You need to have really good marks to get in.

I think that the college is a very nice college according to the course curriculum which has been adapted by the concerned authorities. The college is a very great college because the faculty members are also very educated and experienced.

The procedure to take admission to PhD in the college is very straight. A person needs to give the entrance test conducted by the government of India every year. Then on the basis of interview and merit this Institute take students.

The institute is well known and one can hope for a bright future once enrolled here. The institution has its own charm and can engulf you with it. It's a good place to pursue any kind of research based studies.

My college has always been very supportive towards it's students. It was a great time spent with central institute of Mining and Fuel research. I learned a lot and got lots of inspiration from my teachers, seniors and batchmates.
