GVMC Emergency Patient Care Technician Admission 2026
Admission to the Certificate in Emergency Patient Care Technician at GVMC is conducted through a district-level merit-based selection process overseen by the Dean and Vice Principal of GVMC, as per DME Tamil Nadu guidelines. There is no centralised entrance examination; selection is based on HSC marks. Applications are submitted directly at the GVMC office, and the merit list is published on the college notice board and website. For the 2025-26 session, the entire admission process was completed by 30 September 2025, with courses commencing on 06 October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or Biology) as subjects.
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year (a relaxation of up to 15 days may be allowed). There is no upper age limit.
- Candidates must be citizens of India and natives of Tamil Nadu.
Admission Process
- Obtain the application form free of cost from the District Collectorate Help Desk or the Office of the Dean/Vice Principal, GVMC Vellore.
- Submit the duly filled application along with required documents (HSC and SSLC mark sheets, Transfer Certificate, Nativity Certificate, Community Certificate, Aadhaar card, and PwD certificate if applicable) at the GVMC office before the deadline.
- A merit list is prepared based on HSC marks (Physics + Chemistry: 50 marks; Biology/Botany + Zoology: 50 marks, computed to a maximum of 100).
- The provisional merit list is published on the GVMC notice board and website.
- Allotment orders are issued on the spot during counselling, strictly as per communal reservation and merit.
- Report to GVMC with original documents for verification and complete the joining formalities.
