GMC Aurangabad Ph.D. Biochemistry Fees
The Ph.D. (Biochemistry) program at GMC Aurangabad follows the MUHS-prescribed fee structure as per Notification No. 59/2024. The first-year fees include both university-level and research centre-level charges totalling Rs. 65,340. From the second year onwards, an annual fee of Rs. 30,250 is payable (split equally between the university and the research centre). For a minimum 3-year full-time program, the total fees amount to Rs. 1,25,840.

- Caution Money of Rs. 6,050 is refundable at the time of thesis submission.
- Annual fee from Year 2 onwards: 50% (Rs. 15,125) to be paid to MUHS and 50% (Rs. 15,125) to the Research Centre.
- Fees are subject to a 10% increase every two years as per MUHS policy.
- PET Registration fee: Rs. 5,500 (Open Category) and Rs. 3,850 (Reserved Category) - non-refundable.
- Extension fee of Rs. 4,840 per year is applicable if the course duration exceeds 6 years.
- No capitation fee is charged by the Research Centre.
- Fee refund on cancellation: 10% deduction within 1 month; 25% within 1-3 months; 50% within 3-6 months; no refund after 6 months.
