Admission to Narsimha Reddy Engineering College is based on the ECET entrance exam, with candidates ranked for seat allocation. The faculty, mostly young and with limited experience, except in the EEE section, has received mixed reviews regarding their effectiveness and relationship with students. Tuition fees total 53,000 INR, but SC, ST, and BC students receive a subsidy from JNTU-H, reducing their payment to 18,000 INR. However, additional fees apply for library and JNTU-H services.
The college does not offer internal internships, requiring students to seek external opportunities. Campus placements are available for students with no backlogs and a minimum of 60-65% grades. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Capgemini participate, with starting salary packages around 3.5 LPA, an average of 5 LPA, and a maximum of 11 LPA. In 2022, about 500 students were placed. No internal scholarships are available, but government scholarships can reduce fees for eligible Telangana students.
The annual fee ranges from 70,000 to 80,000 INR, and a JNTU-H scholarship of 6,000 INR per semester is available. Students are advised to seek external scholarships independently.
