Ques. Is OJEE mandatory for PGDIT admission at Khallikote Unitary University?
Ans. Yes, OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) is the primary accepted entrance exam for PGDIT admission at KUU. Candidates must register for OJEE, appear in the exam, and participate in the centralised online counselling to get allotted a seat. There is no direct admission or management quota for this programme.
Ques. What is the difference between PGDIT and MCA at KUU? Which is better?
Ans. Both PGDIT and MCA are 2-year full-time IT programmes at KUU. The MCA is a full master's degree approved by AICTE, while PGDIT is a postgraduate diploma. MCA carries more academic weight and is preferred for higher studies and corporate jobs. PGDIT is suitable for students who want a focused IT qualification quickly. For career advancement and higher education, MCA is generally preferred.
Ques. What is the total fee for the PGDIT programme at KUU?
Ans. The total fee per year for General (Boys) category students is Rs. 23,644 (comprising Rs. 1,444 admission fee + Rs. 2,200 examination fee + Rs. 20,000 course fee). For SC/ST/Girls, the admission fee is Rs. 1,276, making the total Rs. 23,476 per year. Over 2 years, the total programme cost is approximately Rs. 47,288 (General Boys) or Rs. 46,952 (SC/ST/Girls). Hostel is optional and costs an additional Rs. 13,050 as admission fee plus Rs. 60/month rent.
Ques. What are the career prospects after PGDIT from Khallikote Unitary University?
