Masters of Commerce is a Post- graduate Master’s degree which focuses on commerce, accounting, management and economics related subjects. It is 2 year course offered by various colleges and universities. The course mainly includes thesis based component and there may be some research based elements included.

M.Com is a post graduate course done after B.com which is an undergraduate course. After M.Com., students can opt for MBA OR LLB, Doctor of Commerce (D.Com.), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), or a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). MBA is being offered by many Top Universities all over India including Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune (SIBM).

1. For M.Sc. and M.Com, the candidates should be qualified Degree holders of a three year degree course or any other course recognized as equivalent by the Kakatiya University.
2. For M.Sc. and M.Com, the candidates should qualify themselves in the M.Sc. and M.Com Entrance examination conducted by Directorate of P.G. admissions, Kakatiya University.

For M.Sc. and M.Com, the admissions will be made on the basis of counseling sessions conducted at the University. The top rankers of the entrance test will be preferred. As in the other case the lists of candidates for admissions would be furnished to the college by the university.
