The English lecturer at St. Mary's Engineering College is well-regarded for her friendly and effective communication, while the PSS teacher has a less favorable reputation due to strict discipline with male students. Exams are clearly organized and efficiently conducted. Campus placements begin in the third year for BTech students, with companies like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Google, Byjus, TCS, IBM, and Genpact participating. Although these companies offer competitive packages, only a few students secure placements, with the highest salary reaching 10 lakhs per annum.

Many students seek off-campus jobs. The college provides internships with multinational companies and guidance in C programming, Java, and web development. The annual tuition fee for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is INR 50,000, but students qualifying through the EAMCET exam can receive a scholarship of INR 35,000, reducing their fee to INR 15,000. Scholarships for fee reimbursement are available for BC, SC, ST, and other eligible students. Counseling students pay only INR 1,500 for semester exams with no initial tuition.
