The college offers a favorable learning environment with a low teacher-to-student ratio, mainly due to fewer students enrolling as many choose IELTS and studying abroad. Each semester includes about 8 to 9 exams, and approximately 80% of students pass these exams. The science faculty is especially well-regarded, although there are some concerns about faculty behavior.
The annual tuition fee is about 8,000-9,000 INR, with no extra service fees or additional charges, and there is little increase in tuition fees over time. Scholarships are available for SC/ST and BC students, and all charges, including library, security, and lab fees, are included in the tuition. The college offers both self-aided and government-aided courses.
