Ques. What is the total fee for BPT at SRMC Chennai?
Ans. The total fee for the 4.5-year BPT programme at SRMC Chennai is INR 5,00,000, covering tuition for the full academic and internship duration. Hostel and mess are billed separately based on room type. The INR 1,000 application fee paid at registration is non-refundable. Tuition is payable in semester-wise instalments as notified by SRIHER each academic year.
Ques. Is NEET required for BPT admission at SRMC in 2026?
Ans. No. NEET UG is not required for BPT admission at SRMC for the 2026-27 academic year. The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) has deferred the mandatory NEET requirement for BPT to 2027-28. For 2026, SRMC uses the SRIHER All India Common Entrance Exam Group A as the selection basis for BPT admissions.
Ques. What clinical departments do BPT students train in at SRMC?
Ans. BPT students at SRMC complete clinical rotations across the hospital’s physiotherapy department, neurology, orthopaedics, cardiology, paediatrics, and cardiac rehabilitation units.
