The college offers a supportive and friendly faculty, especially noted in the sociology department for its excellent teachers. Students in the geography department, however, are required to stay late for practical sessions, which is less popular among them. Academically, each semester consists of a main exam worth 75 marks and internal tests worth 25 marks for each subject, totaling 100 marks per semester. For sociology honors students, the fee structure begins at approximately 34,000 in the first year, decreases to 28,000 in the second year, and rises to 31,360 in the third year.
Generally, arts stream fees are lower than those for the science stream. The college simplifies payments by including admission and registration fees in installment payments, eliminating additional fees during form submission. Although the college does not offer its own scholarships, it assists students in applying for government scholarships.
